Lisa Sarsfield is currently a highly engaged Career Coach and trusted Strategic Advisor to established and emerging leaders.
She leverages years of expertise in operations/management, Human Resources, organizational change, governance and system transformation. Her focus and greatest area of success is in helping individuals and organizations excel - especially through challenging circumstances.
During her career in Ontario’s health care sector, Lisa held leadership positions at large acute care hospitals (Hospital for Sick Children, St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Markham Stouffville Hospital) and with provincial agencies (Cancer Care Ontario, Ontario Telemedicine Network). Her roles included: Director, Senior Director and Vice President with responsibility for large/complex portfolios, multi-million dollar projects, as well as organization-wide and system-wide change initiatives.
Leadership programs at the Rotman School of Business and at the Wharton School of Business compliment her extensive management experience and her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work.
In addition to her long tenure in health care, Lisa is also a respected governor and systems leader in the province’s child welfare sector. Currently the Board Chair of the Ontario Association of Children’s Aid Societies (OACAS), Lisa joined the Board in 2015 and was the Vice-Chair 2017-2019. Additionally, Lisa served 11 years on the Durham Children’s Aid Society (DCAS) during which time she held positions of President, Vice President and Past President. Lisa was recently awarded an Honorary Society Membership at the 2019 Annual General Meeting.
